100 Years Recognized by the Utah State Legislature

100 years ago today, William D. Boyce filed incorporation papers in Washington DC, and the Boy Scouts of America was born.

100 years later, with 4 million members and nearly 20 million alumni, the Boy Scouts of America is stronger than even before!

Today, representatives from the Trapper Trails Council travelled to the Utah State Capital to witness a historical event for the Boy Scouts of America, the Trapper Trails Council, and the State of Utah as the State Legislature passed a joint resolution recognizing the 100 years of the Boy Scouts of America. The Governor later signed the resolution and expressed with the media his sincere gratitude for the Legacy the BSA has left him. Governor Herbert is a Life Rank Scout.

It was a memorable day for the council, and for the Boy Scouts of America.
